This is the first in a series of webisodes on how to be a good eco-tourist that I co-created last summer while filming in the Galapagos.
This first episode, entitled "Stop! That's Not Eco-Tourism" our heroines--the Wonder Women--help two travelers learn the difference between green-washing and real eco-tourism.
See the next webisode in the series (and others as they get posted) after the jump.>>>
As a graduate fellow at the Center for Social Media, I spend a lot of time thinking about, discussing and teaching others about fair use. So it should come as no surprise that I also spend time trying to use it correctly in my own video work. Here are two mashups I created, following the Code of Best Practices in Fair Use for Online Video (although I think we can argue that there's potentially still copyrighted material in these videos that's not fair use).
The first one, Obama Superstar, was created shortly after Obama's inauguration, and critiques the idolization of Barack Obama.
Check out the second video, The Anatomy of a Hollywood Romance, a critique of the stereotypical plot of a Hollywood romantic comedy, after the jump. >>>
